Overview

Mike Petullo founded Flyn Computing in 1999 to host contributions to open-source software. Now based in Holmen, Wisconsin, Flyn Computing focuses on systems development, web application development, security consulting, and specialized hosting. Mike has published a number of software projects, contributed patches to existing projects, maintained dozens of distribution packages, participated in systems security research, and written technical documentation.

Mike’s experience building and maintaining systems, his time teaching computer science at the undergraduate and graduate level, and his service as a signal and cyber officer in the U.S. Army informs his work.

How we are different

  • We are based in Holmen, Wisconsin. If you are in the coulee region, then we are your local provider.

  • We are entirely open source. This lowers cost and increases customizability. We don’t just use open source, we contribute back to open source projects. We have been doing so since 1999.

  • We focus on developing rapid programming practices. Our aim is to achieve development timelines that result in high quality and affordability for small businesses.
